Dr. John Skanderowicz

John trained at Sheffield University and qualified in 2004. He then worked in practice in Sheffield as a dental associate before moving to the North West in 2007. Since then, he has worked in two more practices to gain further experience, before joining Dental Elements in July 2011.

John enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has a particular interest in advanced restorative and cosmetic work. He believes strongly in the need for continued professional development and regularly attends lectures, seminars and courses in order to advance his knowledge and skills. Notably, in 2008-2009 John completed a one year advanced restorative course at the Tipton Training Academy, Manchester and was awarded the prize of “Dentist of the Year” at the end of the course. He then completed a further year at the Tipton Academy of advanced training in order to improve upon and hone his practical skills.

John is married to Jenny and they have three children, Sophie, Ben & Daniel. In his spare time he enjoys cycling and playing golf and cricket. He also enjoys watching football and is a long suffering Nottingham Forest fan!
